Learn how to decorate cakes and sweet treats with basic buttercream techniques and six simple-to-pipe flowers that transform ordinary cakes into extraordinary results. Your Certified Wilton Method Instructor will help you pipe classic buttercream decorating techniques to create modern and traditional cake designs. You will learn how easy it can be to:

  • Make icing the right consistency to decorate
  • Fill and use a decorating bag
  • Ice and decorate a cake and other sweet treats with the latest techniques
  • Make six different buttercream icing flowers
  • Pipe lines and make simple borders, letters and shapes on your
  • cake
  • Transfer images to a cake to decorate

This cake certainly has the ‘WOW’ factor. You will be working with modelling chocolate and carving techniques to create a cone shaped wrap design. You will learn to work with cocoa form and handle the chocolate in such a way that allows malleability to shape the wrap cake to your desired specification. Chocolate balls, roses, fans and cut out shapes will be created and dusted to add the perfect finishing touches to this elegant cake.

  • Learn how to look after the former/drying rack so it can
    be used time and time again.
  • Learn how to make props for any shoe design.
  • Learn about the required environment required to dry your sugar shoes quickly and effectively.
  • Learn how to hold and spray the shoes after drying.
  • Any other tips and tricks.
